all aspects of eye care but takes a special interest in the care of the
health of the eye. Dr. Dickerson has extensive experience with the
co-management of cataracts, glaucoma, and refractive surgery. He
is a member of the American Optometric Association, Tennessee Optometric
Association, and the Duck River Optometric Society.
Dr. Dickerson is a member of the First United Methodist Church of Columbia.
Over the years he has been active in such civic activities as Rotary, Big
Brothers and Big Sisters, Boy Scouts, Girls Softball, and PTA to name a
few. He is married to the former Patricia Ervin and has three college
age children, Kate, Matt, and Annie. In his spare time he enjoys
golf, hunting, and fishing.
“ I enjoy the process of helping people see better. The excitement
of a child the first time they can see the leaves on a tree, or the restoration
of vision for our senior patients following the removal of a cataract is
very rewarding.”
